I'm not sure the correct name for these. I picked up a 50 foot dog runner while doing the neighbors drive way during a snow storm. I didn't notice until it was too late. I found the replacement parts not not sure how to get it back together.

Like captchas said, there is no room to put that flange bearing back on (insert it into the auger shaft), unless you remove the auger assembly.

How did you got it out without removing the auger assembly?

It cord was wrapped in that area but the time I had noticed the shaft was already out of it. The only thing I can think of is it just kept wrapping until it forced it off.
