Guys,
Newbie here so forgive me. Wondering if all chutes are the same on old Toros? I have a 1987 521. Chute is getting pretty rusty. I sometimes see some for sale but can't tell if they would fit. So would say a 421, or a 3521 chute fit my 521?--or better yet an 824 chute would fit my 521?
Thanks

Welcome Aboard Rich, IDK for sure, but do you have a model and serial number? I have 5 or 6 at the shop and I can check tomorrow. GLuck, Jay

hello rich, welcome to SBF!! a chute from a 3521, 421, or a 521 will work on your 521. if you have a tall chute 521 replace it with a chute from another tall chute 521, they throw snow farther. I doubt that the chute from an 824 would bolt on

Rick, Is it Rotted or Rusty?? Those older chutes are pretty solid and clean up nice when sanded & painted. The medium frame chutes are larger than the smaller frame chutes.... Jay

Thanks for the kind words everybody. My model is a 38052 7000741 which makes it a 1987 Toro 521.
The chute is rusty but looks like it may clean up ok. Will hopefully get her cleaned up this summer if I get the time.
JayzAuto, do you have a web page for parts in case I need any in the future?
Thanks,
Rich
