Hi All
I am in the market for a new blower
currently i have a 1998 mastercraft MTD 10hp 26 inch
i was originally set on the ariens deluxe 28 sho.
but after reading a bit I have decided on a Toro 928oxhe 38801
or so i thought
after calling around I found a dealer with
1128oxhe with a 342cc briggs for 50 bux more.
he said it is last years model but when i look it up it is a 2014 38680

maybe shoulda put this in the toro section

my question
is the briggs 342cc engine as reliable and have the longevity of the
265cc loncin

Yeah sure you betcha it does I would take that 1 over the newer model anyday now. that BRIGGS will have the rasins in it to get the job done. anyhoo ALOHA from the paradise city.:smiley-rpg027::smiley-rpg027::smiley-rpg027::smiley-rpg027::smiley-rpg027:

I agree with Powershift this is an excellent find, if new with a new factory warranty I would buy it. That is a nice machine with a nice Briggs engine, the oil should drain from the rear on the Briggs engine instead of the side as it Is on the Loncin engine. I would say the Briggs engine should prove at least as reliable as the Loncin and will also give you more power per inch of auger size.

Let us know which one you went with and post some pics.

Good luck!
