Three year old Troy Bilt 2840. Sudden shimmy when auger is activated. Auger is completely clear of snow and ice. All sheer pins present ands accounted for. Stops when auger is released, not an engine shimmy. Not a drive shimmy. Like I said, auger is free and clear of debris and all pins present. Wobble just started suddenly. Can't feel it when under load only when running free. Any ideas ??..... Thanks all

Check your impeller for loose play, could be bad bearing there or something stuck between impeller and housing?

Could be a bent shaft too. Have someone hold it down or tie it down and then look at the front and see if anything looks to be not running straight. Be careful not to get anything caught in there though and be sure to stand back.
