My vote is for the Deluxe 28 with the 414 engine. I have 2 Ariens 28" blowers and nothing stops them. Although my Deluxe is powered by the Predator 420 I am sure the one you are looking at with that big 414cc will get the job done and that's the one that will save you a few bucks over the other 2 blowers. Nothing wrong with the others by the way.

The 414cc deluxe 28 is a killer machine. You said you get a lot of heavy snow so there is no such thing as too much power. It looks well taken care of by the pics also. That would be my choice.

I look at it this way, you can always run the throttle at a slower speed and still plow snow plenty well. That's what I do with my 420cc.
