Hello everyone,
I’m looking to buy a snowblower as my new house has a substantially bigger driveway compared to my last.

I’m fine with doing maintenance on items, so buying used doesn’t bother me. Around my area right now there is:
- 2015 Ariens 28 Deluxe 414CC model for $1000

- Demo model Toro Powermax 828 HD for $1699 from the dealership

- Another Toro Powermax 828 HD private sale for $1500, but it is practically brand new

- Ariens 2020 28 Deluxe SHO for $2000

Looking for recommendations on what I should do here or if I should hold out for a better offer.

Also, I am in Canada and we get a large amount of wet and heavy snow where I am to.

Ariens for me. That 414cc will be a monster. Don't even bother thinking of Toro.

I'd offer them $800 cash today. Is that a private sale?
Where in Canada are you located?

I’m in Newfoundland and he is firm on the pricing. It’s a secondary blower so he said he’ll keep it before selling it for any less as he has no rush to get rid of it.
