I am looking for a bottom rear cover plate that covers the friction disk/chain/gears area for a JD TRS27. I actually need 2 of them but whatever I can find would be great.

Those Deere TRS blowers were made by Murray, I believe. Don't limit yourself to Deere. Look for some of the same vintage Murray machines. Worst case buy a piece of mild steel and put the two bends in it and drill the necessary holes. Go to one of the local OPE repair shops and see what they might have laying around.

Either posting the model & serial number of the blower or the part number of the cover might be helpful since I can find at least two different ones for a TRS27.

If you strike out it's also something you can make out of sheet steel pretty easy or have a shop cut for you.

I think it's one of these depending on your serial number.
