They are well made but parts are not readily available. Few come up for sale and are never cheap so finding a parts loaner spare would be difficult. I love Yamaha having had 9 of them in my 60+ bike herd over the last 50 years.

It’s definitely a tank of a machine
I used it twice this season and it worked great
im moving south this summer and have no need for it anymore!

I hope this doesn't come across as inflammatory, but it's difficult to set a value on a snowblower based on two pictures of the manufacturing sticker.

It's worth what the market will bare, one would have to be proactive on wear items.

If you want one bad you’d go to Mongolia to get parts. My buddy runs a motorcycle shop and has many customers willing to spend thousands on old bikes that are of limited value. Those folks have many reasons for doing it often it’s nostalgia or just wanting a particular bike. Blowers are no different. The Ariens folks are enthusiastic about their’s as I am about my Bobcat. Yamaha is definitely in my list of potential projects if affordable.
