I have in my possession a ST725 in real nice shape other than those dreaded plastic rims from that time, Are there any rims that would fit the current rims or do I need to find a parts machine axle to get other rims to fit?

Are they leaking? With plastic rims, I always put tubes in. After that, no problem.

Have not removed them yet, not leaking but seem loose on the rather short axles, they kind of droop for a better way to put it, both angle with the weight of the blower on them no pic of the wheels angled but this is the blower.

I've got a couple of those units, smaller version. The axle only protrudes into the wheels about half the width of the wheel hub. So the wheel hub gets hogged out and "droops". A conventional wheel will have no way to attach on the short axle, The plastic wheels are held on by a 1/4" (?) bolt across the diameter of the shaft. Conventional wheels are pinned on the outside of the hub. I haven't found a quick EZ replacement yet... but now I have a few of those units, so I'll hafta devise something.... Like a longer axle. And parts machines of that vintage all seem to have the same wear...... on the units I've seen.

HMM may have to see what other axles fit, Have a 520 for parts but that one has 4" rims and not sure if they are pinned on the outside or bolted on the inside. Will have to see.
