Welcome aboard... curious as to your reason for wanting to do this. Seems one per side has been working well for a very long time.

 

Mine just has the shoe skids on back and wood like to put a set on each side also

 

One on each side has worked flawlessly on all my blowers, of all makes .... never needed 2 on each side. If you have none now, then one on each side will be sufficient.

 

My Honda has both the side and back skid shoes

The side set on mine wore out, I found a pair that fit my HS1132 at Canadian Tire.

Found these ones on their website, someone noted in the question section that they fit an HSS928. Just measure the hole spacing.

Can you get poly one instead of metal

Have you used it yet? and if so what is the issue?

What kind of surface do you need to clean? Flat, slightly sloped, very sloped, high in center, asphalt, dirt, gravel, etc.

Some people swear by having both. The side ones are usually adjusted down about 1/16th of an inch lower than rears. Depends on surface. I don't need both sets.

One answer does not fit all.

BTW, keeping skids properly adjusted is very important.

 

If you climb/descend steps or change levels, you will want 4 skids

 

Can you get poly skids
