Too much two cycle oil in gas tank

Hello. It wasn't my best moment but I misread the instructions as 50/50 gas and two cycle engine oil. I also didn't premix, and instead added the oil directory into the gas tank. Probably about 1 cup before I started to second guess. Now, the snowblower will not start. Anything I can do here to remedy this problem?

What percentage were you off on?
Too much?
Not enough?
Did you put the oil in first? Or after the gas?
If first, I would drain the fuel line too, unless you had it shutoff.

If you know the quantities, then dump/siphon into a large enough gas can so that you get the ratio correct. If not, then that gas is junk, and you need to start over. If you ended up reasonably close, you might just have gotten pure oil in the carb from the bottom of the tank, and will need to flush the carb and lines as well, and might be able to use the fuel as is, or tweak in the tank.

Never heard of adding oil to the tank, though . . . How did you plan to get it mixed?

Oil is much thicker than fuel..won't get sucked through the jets.. so not only do you have too much oil...it wont get enough fuel.
Drain it...remove drain from carb..to clean out carb refill.
Take out spark plug....twirl engine several times.
Put in new plug if you have one..if not clean old one with brake cleaner.

Big difference between 50:1 and 50:50... Drain the tank and the bowl. Find a local disposal site by calling your county or city waste management folks and start over fresh.
