Hello,

I'm looking for a metal auger for a Honda HS621 single stage to repair my parents machine after it got mangled up a bit from last years ice storm.
Please let me know if you have one, or know of a less expensive resource. A new fully loaded piece is typically going for $300.

Preferably in Canada, but willing to pay for shipping from US or ship to my mail box in Buffalo NY.

I'm in the same boat. I've got a lovely HS621 in need of a new auger. The price on the Honda is ridiculous and after taking off the broken auger and having a look at the welds I'm not impressed with the quality. Has anyone ever tried to retrofit a Toro auger onto an HS621 or HS521 ? The auger new is $100 cheaper and new paddles down the road would be easier to find and well under half the price. Am I talking blasphemy here. I've got a welder and a lathe. Even if I were to buy a new Honda auger I would definitely be redoing some of the factory welds before I install it .

As others have mentioned, you can get the HS621 Auger Assembly on Ebay new for $270 shipped. There is also a used HS621 assembly currently on Ebay for $149. Doesn't look too bad, but still pretty expensive for a used auger.

The HS521 and HS621 both use the same auger assembly which doesn't really help with the cost issue. Might be able to find a junked 521 or 621 on Craigslist and salvage the auger. Good Luck!
