Very interesting. But considering there's no Air Filter on the snowblower engines, you have a serious issue if you run it in summer in conditions which always generate dust and small particle debris.

 

Yeah, it doesn't seem to be a complete solution.

 

When using the original Trac Team attachments on the Ariens 10000 series machines, you would remove the heater box and install the air filter assembly which was available from Ariens.

You can see it installed in the photo below.

 

When I sold my father's 1973 Ariens, it went to a guy who wanted it as a spare power unit. He had a whole collection of the attachments. Score for him.

But the average Joe's, more of which can't figure out a oil change or tune up, this would be a interesting jigsaw puzzle to them.

I see the brochure is dated 1973 which makes the attachments appropriate looking for the era.

 

Before Trac Team there was the Gard n Yard attachments, which were launched around 1963, based on this brochure.

 

With the Trac-Team mower attachment on the front (no sulky) it's really maneuverable, it will spin around in just about it's own length in motion. Very cool, does wheelies too.

Had one of these when I was a kid; serious wheelie monster when the mowing deck was not installed.

 

That Clipper Deck is for the 924 series. Used one on ST824. Worked well.
