I live in SE Minnesota. Looking for a Ariens trac-team rotary mower attachment for 1970s ive SnoThro tractor if anyone is willing to part with it. It would be super cool to own one of these but they are hard to find. I have a Ariens 10954 with 10955 32" auger. The rotary mower model number could be 35-10M, 910011, or possibly 910001.

Just used mine yesterday, great fun, wacked down the neighbors knee high grass. They reduce cutting time by 10-15 minutes or more for your average suburban patch vs a 21 in push mower, and you can crash them in high gear if you're not paying attention. I dont have full 10000 units except for the one I use, a couple in pieces, I do have one available for the 924000 series, it's new old stock open box, but it wouldn't work on a 10000 without a lot of modification to the blade brake, or eliminating it completely, which would be unsafe. Plus they don't flexnfloat like the original....search forum for "clipper deck" posts, for pics. Plus it requires 15" tires/wheels, summer air filter, etc. I'm in Ohio.
To find the used original style survivor, you'd probably have to travel to Illinois Indiana Michigan Ohio PA upstate NY or East coast, as that's where most seemed to have been purchased

I found a 910011 mower for sale in WI. It’s $300 for the mower attachment along with the snow blower, and the lawn vacuum. Tractor is included. So 4 units for $300. It’s a 4 hours drive one way and I only want the mower but they are not willing to drop price or sell the attachment separately. What do you think? Still thinking about it…

$100 an attachment is a fair price for unrestored units. The blower is a commercial unit by giant VAC, and it features a 1/3 belt transmission speeder. It increases speed approximately 3 revolutions for every one revolution of the PTO., perfect for a generator or 3600rpm pump. The odds of finding one locally would be next to zero. If you drive out, examine the unit before purchase with the mower attached, the welds on the yoke can break, and the mount plate can bend if crashed. THE YOKE is a bit tricky to diagnose because the welds are on the bottom side and hidden, usually covered by dirt and grease. Check for excessive up and down floppiness as you unweight the mower attachment with the handlebars. If he has any part of the bagger attachment you've already hit the jackpot, because those are unobtainium.

PS: The back of the deck will drag or hang low if the yoke is broken. The Vaccum bagger and accessory parts are also very hard to replace.
