Trying to repair my father's Toro CCR2000 model # 38180. It's in great shape and was running very well but recently won't start. He took it to a small engine repair place and after several attempts the guy told him it needed a new magneto. Guy suggested we do it ourselves to save a lot of money. Searching internet part number for the magneto coil is 81-0330 but the part has been discontinued and is no longer available. Any recommendations on what I might be able to do to obtain this part? Thank you.

I've seen videos that say it's an easy switch to change magneto ignition to electronic ignition, with the caveat that I've never actually done it myself. Here's some search results:

That isn't the model I have for the snow blower I'm working on. I don't even know where I took that photo. I just went out and took another photo of the label on my cr2000. It's model 38180 serial number 0003528. Sorry for the confusion.
