I think I would rather use a mower to cut my grass.
But I guess if your an Arien collector and have the room it is a piece of history?
I wonder as to what models it will work on?
I still can't see me cutting grass with my snow blower.

 

It's for the 10000 series. I have one and it does work pretty well and cuts a 28" swath. Ideally, you should fit an air filter on the engine for summer use.

 

I got mine from Cranman. It's just like the one my Dad had for his old '63 Ariens. Not what you would use for your suburban lawn but fine for me. This one looks pretty clean too.

I have one made by another company for my ST824 and it works great. Major benefit is I only have one motor to care for, and its MUCH more powerful than your average 22" push mower. My grass grows very fast and we get a lot of rain sometimes so I may mow biweekly and with a regular mower I'd have to bag the clippings since it would be way too long to mulch. With my snowblowermower I can mulch just about anything. And leaves? So good. I put a commercial bagger on it too. Works awesome.
